SOT accepted our Abstract for presentation

Details:
An abstract of our research entitled Mutagenic activity of Allura Red AC and Tartrazine has bveen accepted for presentation at the forthcoming Annual meeting and ToxExpoTM of the Society of Toxicology (SOT) to be held in San Antonio, Texas, USA from March 11-14, 2013. Allura Red AC and Tartrazne are azo dyes widely used as food colouring agents. Azo dyes can be enzymatically degraded to mutagenic and potential carcinogenic aromatic amines by the gastrointestinal microflora. Findings of our study will be presented at this SOT meeting.
